Music Cafe

We are waiting on a joint FMUA, Faculty of Music, and Food Services meeting. Progress has slowed a bit this week for the Food Services people are rather busy. 

Summer IGAs, Niki

Huge thank you to Niki for finishing up on collecting forms for our Summer IGA. She is looking for BoD members to sit on the BGA (Bursary, Grants, and Awards) committee for the upcoming week. If you are interested in assisting her, please reply to her message in the general Slack channel. 

Social Media & Newsletter, Elyssa & Committee

A beautiful new post by Elyssa advertising FOMO was posted a couple days back. Furthermore, a new story telling students about EDI & UofT Health and Wellness was also posted. But most exciting of all, our first newsletter has been released to the current students! First-year students will receive a special one down the line! Thank you Elyssa.

Academic Standing Committee, Claudia

Thank you to Claudia for taking the time to sit on the academic standing committee this week. She represented our student interests to the Faculty in having a say on academic matters, grades, and academic violations.

Charging Lockers & Battery Bank New Initiative

A twelve locker charging station will set us back $1200. I do not know why they charge so much for a metal box. Battery banks are being explored. Cost for battery banks is around $150. Picture of locker station on the next page. 

Third Floor

A repurposed bulletin board has been put up between the elevator and the stairs on the third floor of the EJB. The fridge has also been cleaned for the summer. Fridge cleaning is our responsibility and a schedule for fridge clean outs will be made for the school year. 

Office Renewal

We got a couch! Thank you Elyssa for carrying it across downtown!
