Executive Coordinator
The Executive Coordinator is the full-time staff member of the Association. Their role includes any and all tasks to ensure the continued operation of the Association and its services, events, and advocacy initiatives.
Their tasks include:
Assist Officers in fulfilling their bylaw, policy, and fee referendum defined mandates.
Maintain and organize the Association’s financial and administrative records upon the direction of the Vice-President Finance.
Handle the Association’s payroll, invoicing, and banking upon the direction of the Vice-President Finance.
Assist the Vice-President Operations with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing meeting minutes.
Assist the Vice-President Operations & Cafe Manager(s) with the operations of the Music Cafe.
Manage the Association’s staff and volunteers upon the direction of the Vice-President Operations.
Monitoring and ordering office supplies upon the direction of the Vice-President Operations.
Manage and oversee communications between the Association, Members, and the University upon the direction of the Vice-President Communications.
Assist the Speaker in preparing agendas for meetings.
Assist student groups affiliated with the Association.
Post and maintain regular office hours and greet Members and non-Members to the office with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Maintain a strong institutional memory to ensure a successful Board of Directors turnover from year to year.
Serve as a signing officer of the Association.
Serve as an ex-officio member of the Association’s Board of Directors, Committees, and Commissions.
